Monday Red Plate Ride Report 19-02-24
On a bright and sunny Monday, 21 enthusiastic motorcyclists gathered at the designated meeting point, their engines ready to go. The group, led by the experienced and knowledgeable Wayne Berry, embarked on a mystery run, with the destination unknown to all but the leader.
The riders mounted their diverse motorcycles, each a testament to their individual style and preferences. The lineup included sleek sports bikes, comfortable cruisers, and a rugged old trail bike, reflecting the varied tastes and riding styles within the group.
As they set off, the riders savoured the freedom of the open road, their spirits lifted by the fresh air and the camaraderie that binds motorcyclists together. They navigated winding country roads and enjoyed the breathtaking views and the thrill of the ride.
The mystery destination turned out to be Anakie, a picturesque town nestled amidst rolling hills. The group arrived at a charming cafe, where they enjoyed a great coffee and snack and shared stories of their riding adventures.
After a leisurely break, the riders mounted their motorcycles once again and made their way back, The Red Plate Monday mystery run had proven to be an memorable experience for all involved.
Monday Red Plate Ride Report 12-02-24,
This morning’s ride witnessed an impressive turnout of 27 members, each showcasing their diverse range of motorbikes. The large number of participants prompted the division into two groups, ensuring a more manageable and enjoyable ride for all.
The first group was led by the experienced and capable Mal, a seasoned rider known for his steady hands at the controls. Mal guided his group along a carefully planned route, taking them through scenic landscapes and challenging terrains.
The second group was skillfully led by Phil Nelson, another esteemed member of the clubs riding community. Phil’s group embarked on an alternative route, offering a different set of experiences and challenges.
Both groups rode at a steady pace, allowing members to appreciate the beauty of the surrounding countryside and engage in camaraderie. The riders enjoyed the thrill of the open road, the freedom of the wind in their faces, and the company of fellow enthusiasts.
The ride concluded at the quaint and charming Cafe La Hoot in Winchelsea, where the two groups converged for a well-deserved coffee break.
