Red Plate Monday Ride Report – 22-09-25

We had a dozen or so bikes & 2 cars front up this morning.
Anakie was picked for the destination, Wayne B and Freddy Wing volunteered to lead and tail and lead and tail they did.

We regrouped at Ceres and then rode/drove thru Gheringhap and turned right at Bakers Bridge Rd then left at Steiglitz Rd thru Sutherlands Creek onto Maude with a left turn taking us thru She Oaks, Merideth. From Merideth we proceeded down Slate Quarry Rd to Durdidwarrah, right turn onto the Geelong/Ballan Rd to finish at the Anakie General Store.

The temperature from Durdidwarrah to Anakie dropped as we skirted around a cold front and the hot coffees and warm food was held for a while in chilled hands prior to demolition.

It was also great to see Mal back today as Ross’s passenger whilst he recovers.
