Monday Red plate 23-12-24 – Ride Report

‘Twas the Monday before Christmas, when all through the house

Not a creature was stirring, only the dedicated SMCC Members keen for a Red Plate Ride’

Destination the week was the Anakie General Store. Lead rider was the always reliable, steady throttle, Good Guy – Guy, tail rider was Doug.

We headed out of town and regrouped at Ceres. Approximately 25 riders .

Everyone followed as Guy took them down Pollocksford Rd, only to find out the Pollocksford Rd bridge was (still) out.

The Group managed to do the river crossing (Dukes of Hazard Style ??) and then headed to Gheringhap, then Bakers Bridge Rd, through Stiglitz and Demonts Rd, with the group pulling into Anakie like Rolling Thunder.

A special guest accompanied the group this week, Don Lum’s Daughter Natasha (Fisher) who is visiting from the USA for Christmas.
