Despite a severe storm last night and a 40 degree prediction 17 avid riders showed up at our Barrabool Road meeting place.

Bernie our tail end rider came up with the idea of Portarlington to which Guy suggested Daniel’s Donuts.

I led the group via Breakwater and regrouped at Townsend Road through Leopold and Swan Bay Road then rejoining the Bellarine Hwy right turn at Banks Road taking us to Point Lonsdale then the long straight run, for the V Max, to Portarlington.

There we enjoyed coffee and donuts, I can recommend the Boston Chocolate custard donut. Plenty of chat sitting outside the shop in perfect conditions.

A bit hotter on the return journey but another great ride of just over 90 klms.
