Monday’s Red Plate Ride saw 18 riders front up at our Barrabool road meeting place.

Birregurra was decided on as our stopping point and I led the was with Doug riding backup.

Our route from Ceres followed Barrabool Road crossing the Princes Highway down to Cape Otway Road and on to Deans Marsh.

From here to Birregurra the conditions were near perfect apart from very strong side winds.

The Birregurra General Store provided us with great coffee and delicious food as we sat outside swapping motorcycling stories before heading home with a tail wind.
