Red Plate Monday Ride Report 30-06-25

On today’s red plate ride 18 hardy riders turned up .

After the overnight rain the roads were wet and slippery and the weather chilly enough for me to wear heated gloves.

Mal blasted us with the dual horns on the BMW and advised us that he would lead us to Poppy’s Nursery Cafe in Anglesea.

After Mal’s traditional joke and under clear skies we headed off to our regroup stop at Ceres.

A bit of a delay here while we waited for Mick to arrive after his Honda VFR did not want to fire up.

It was then we continued to the end of Barrabool Road and around to Forest Road and down the flowing bends into Anglesea.

The huge table there allowed us all to sit and discuss the important issues like motorcycle restoration while enjoying hot coffee and scones with jam and cream.

Great way to spend a Monday morning. Thanks to Fred for riding tail on the Mothership.
