What a great night last night with Special Guest Speakers Brian Rix & Shirley Hardy-Rix enthralling tails of their worldwide motorcycling adventures.
With more than 50 members & Guests in attendance at our South Geelong Clubrooms.
Brian & Shirley, with their infectious enthusiasm and witty storytelling, regaled the audience with tales of the open road, challenging terrains, and heartwarming encounters.
From navigating the rugged landscapes of the Himalayas to the bustling streets of Southeast Asia, they shared their experiences with a touch of humour and a deep appreciation for the freedom of motorcycling.
The event concluded with a lively Q&A session, where Brian and Shirley engaged with the audience, answering questions about their favourite routes, travel tips, and the lessons they have learned along the way
A very big thanks to Brian & Shirley for taking the time to come to the SMCC last night, thank you to Rodney McFadden for helping organise the night, Thanks to Bot and his BBQ for feeding the assembled, no one went home hungry.

1st Meeting of the Month 13-02-24

Monday Red Plate Ride Report 05-02-24.
The ride this morning to Anglesea was another successful adventure for the group of 15 riders, led by the experienced and capable Mal. At the tail end of the pack was Wayne Berry, a seasoned rider known for his steady presence.
Adding to the adventure today was Wayne’s cousin, Daryl, who had travelled all the way from Horsham to join the ride. Daryl was no stranger to the world of motorcycling, having previously lent his hand at the Thumper Nats meetings held at Barrabool in years gone by.
The group arriving safely at Anglesea General Store in time for a great coffee and treats.
Thanks to everyone who joined the ride today, especially Mal, Wayne & Daryl.
