Great meeting Last night, 22-10-24

Another very successful meeting last night, very well attended by SMCC members.

Thanks to Collin O’Connor for bringing along his Harris Frame Kawasaki for the club’s “Show N Tell”

Collin built the bike up from just the Harris frame which was handmade in the UK (check out those Bronze Welds !), He used an engine he drove to QLD to pickup and other parts he had sitting around at home, amazing Job Collin well done.

The Lucky member door prize was also drawn, with Steve Harrington’s number being drawn at random, unfortunately for Steve he wasn’t present so the prize jackpots (again) to the next meeting, make sure you come along so you can collect if your number is picked.

Meeting reminder – This Tuesday 22/10

Come along this Tuesday for the 2nd SMCC meeting of the month.

Get all your Red Plate & Membership renewals all sorted.

As an extra bonus this meeting Collin O’Connor has put his hand up for the “Show N Tell”, Collin is bringing along his rare Harris frame Kawasaki, it will be very interesting to see and hear about this unique machine.

Also the Lucky Member door prize is primed and ready to go off, after jackpotting for many meetings, you have to be present at the meeting to take home your winnings if your member number is drawn at random.

Hope to see you there.

Next Monday’s Red Plate Ride – 14/10/24

Don’t forget you’re encouraged to bring along your Oldest or Smallest Red Plate Machine next Monday.

It will be a shake down for the Sporty TT end of year Club ride which involves member’s older and slower machines.

But if you only have a Red Plate rocket ship you’re still welcome to come along next Monday, but attendees might be divided into two groups, slower & faster !

Spread the word and hope to see you there. 👍👍.
