Buy / Swap & Sell

Just a reminder that the Club has an active “Buy, Swap & Sell” page on the clubs website, so head over and have a look.

If you have something to sell then email the club and we’ll do our best to list your item(s) for you. email:- enquiries@smcc.com.au

The Club has recently been asked for its assistance by listing a group of Bikes that belonged to a much loved SMCC member who recently passed away, The Family of the member would like the bikes to remain in the club if possible. Interested members can Contact Mal Loone ( 0455505148 ) who will be the contact point for the family and also help negotiate an outcome that will be fair and reasonable to both parties.

So head over to the “Buy, Swap & Sell” page and have a look cheers.

What a Fantastic Meeting Last night !

Graham Smith’s TZ750 was the big drawer card last night and it did not disappoint, Here are some points I scribbled down from Graham’s detailed presentation of his machine.

* 1977
*145hp / 145kg
* Under 1000 TZ750 made, less than 150 of this year.
* Graham won Victorian Championships on this bike
* Mono full length of Broadford
* One similar came up for sale in UK recently listed at £70k

Thanks Graham for bringing your amazing bike along, You could tell by the cheer at the end of running it what the members thought.

The Lucky Member door prize was also drawn at random with Mathew Mee’s membership number being pulled. Unfortunately for Mathew he wasn’t present, So he missed out on the cash and seeing the TZ.

See You at the next meeting Tuesday 08/10.

2nd Meeting of the month – This Tuesday 24-09

Being the 2nd meeting of the month the meeting has Show N Tell, and this month we are lucky enough to have Graham Smith bringing along his his amazing TZ750.

Previous Show N Tells have presented the meeting with some very unique bikes and items, and this meeting is set not to disappointing.

Also make sure you come along to be in the running for the lucky member door prize, which has jackpotted from last meeting, a member will be chosen at random and must be present to collect their prize.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Another great club meeting last night.

Very well attended by members, with a great warm, buzzing atmosphere.

Thanks Bot for a great meal, I don’t think anyone went away hungry, thanks Bron for the Twisties!

The Lucky Member Door prize was drawn at random, with Member number 49 being drawn – Michael Clay, unfortunately for Michael he wasn’t present so the door prize will jackpot to next meeting.
