The Annual running of “Boardy’s Cape Patton Rally” – Sunday the 16th Feb
Is your old red plate machine collecting dust in the shed ? Time to dust it off, check tyres & oil and head down the coast for a nice cruisy ride along the Great Ocean Road to Cape Patton.
This ride will be perfectly suited to the older slower bikes and cars, and now the holiday period is over it is expected the traffic will be light, we’ll get a chance to take in the world class views we are so lucky to live next too, while cruising with mates.
Meet at the Waurn Ponds BP Servo 9:00am the Sunday the 16th of Feb, 9:30am stands up, Open to all members, but members older machines encouraged.
Regroup in the car park opposite the Anglesea General Store , then onto Lorne, then finish at Cape Patton.
On the return from Cape Patton the group will stop at the Kafe Koala in Kennett River for coffee.
No Support vehicle, so maybe have the trailer hitched up at home just in case the old bike needs help.
Boardy has his covered in bike trailer that could be used for support on the day, but we’d need a volunteer to tow it, let us know if you can help out.
Hope to see you there, spread the word to Members.

Casual Meeting 14/1/25
How do real motorbike riders dream of spending Christmas ?
In Geelong Hospital with a broken leg !.
Beak was enjoying a leisurely ride near Deans Marsh with mates when allegedly Deano pulled up and had an “issue” with his stand bringing on the Domino’s effect.
The outcome being Beak’s leg broken in 3 places, requiring some lengths of M8 all-thread and some 10G self tapers to put him back together.
It looks like Beak is in his normal good spirits, we wish him a speedy recovery & hope to see him back in the saddle soon.
