This months ride takes us to the Ceres Distilling Company, a distillery owned and operated by one of our members Ross Johnston. Ross has kindly offered to open the doors early for us and is happy to supply a coffee and bikkies during which time he will give a brief talk on the processes involved in his chosen industry. If you haven’t been there before it is quite an eye opener and well worth a visit for any of your up coming social events.

We will be having a short ride of about an hour around the Bellarine Peninsula, leaving from the clubrooms at 9.30 finishing around 10.30 at 38/8 Lewalan St Grovedale for anyone wishing to attend.

What a fantastic meeting – 14-05-24

What a fantastic meeting we had last night! It was so great to see such a good turnout, and we all had a very enjoyable time.

Many thanks to Guy for organising the pizzas – they were absolutely delicious and topped off the evening perfectly.

In addition to the great food and company, we also had the lucky door prize draw. And the winner being drawn at random was… Drumroll Brad Richards! Unfortunately, Brad wasn’t present, so the door prize will jackpot to the next meeting on the 28th of May.

Thanks to everyone for attending and making it a great evening, Lots of lively discussion, banter, and a perfect chance to catch up with mates. I’m already looking forward to the next meeting! See you then 👍

What a great meeting last night 23-04-24

What a great meeting last night with Andrew Boardman’s contribution of his machine taking centre stage.

He showcased his 1980/500cc Jawa 894 speedway bike for the club’s “Show N Tell,” captivating everyone with its stunning design and historical significance.

The Jawa 894 speedway bike is a masterpiece of speed and power, boasting an impressive 65hp and weighing in at a mere 86kg. Equipped with no breaks and no gears & a total loss oil system, it requires exceptional skill and precision to tame its formidable performance.

Adding to the evening’s excitement was Andrew Barrett, a seasoned speedway and ice racer who shared his expert insights and personal experiences with the club members. His anecdotes and technical knowledge provided a deeper understanding of the challenges and exhilaration of high-speed racing on both dirt tracks and frozen surfaces.

Thanks Guys,
