Great ride today to The Old Workshop Cafe at Anakie with 12 riders attending where we were warmly welcomed by the owners and treated to great food and coffee by their ever polite and efficient staff. A good eclectic mix of bikes attended including moderns and oldies varying from Aermacchi, Moto Guzzi, Ducati, Honda’s, BMW’s, Triumph, Harley D and Yamahas.
The ride took us through Ceres, Pollocksford towards Inverleigh, then via Bannockburn, Russell’s Bridge, Maude to the Bacchus Marsh road then on to Anakie via Granite road. A total ride of approx 135klm’s by the time we arrived back in Geelong.
Smiles all round, corner marshalling worked well with no delays and no one lost.
